Certified birth and death certificates are issued at both offices. Legitimating procedures and limited genealogical research are also provided at both locations.

For all requests make a money order payable to the St. Joseph County Health Department in the correct amount for the number of copies requested or if you prefer to use Visa/MasterCard you must complete a request on our application."  Our policy was changed and we can no longer accept photocopies of the credit card.

*Payment must be a money order made payable to the St. Joseph County Health Department. Visa/MasterCard is also accepted, but the request must be on our application.  No Personal Checks Accepted.  Do not mail cash-we will not refund if lost.
